Burns’s voice is warm but vulnerable, the perfect accompaniment to such a powerful song. The nod to Tori Amos comes back again in the breathy delivery of the last verse before the instrumental break.

There are minimal instruments in this version but the song never feels lost, the skill in  the piano playing and delivery of the vocals makes for a compelling listen.”
